Labor Day

Labor Day is usually our last day for the summer to go to the lake and have fun in the sun. This year was no different...except there wasn't much sun. It was very gloomy and looked like at any moment it could rain. Thankfully we were able to get a little fun on the lake in before it did actually start raining.


We have some friends that have a lakehouse as well, so we try to meet up with them whenever we're at the lake and let the boys play. Here is Zeke and his friend Tharpe on the tube with both daddys.

Zeke and Jeremy had a blast. Jeremy would flip around while the boat was going and lay on his stomach or bounce up and down, and Zeke would follow suit. They are both daredevils! After the boys got finished riding and we dropped Tharpe and his dad back off at their house. Jeremy and Madie decided to have a little fun on the tube. This is the very first time she's ever ridden it.

She was a little leary at first, but then she fell asleep :)

When we got back to the lakehouse, it was lunchtime and playtime. For Zeke's birthday, Aunt Angela bought him a trailer for his cozy coupe. He absolutely loves it, but Madie found it first and played with it before Zeke got up from his nap :)

 Madie got Jeremy's belt and we wrapped it around her and put Zeke's made up gun (really a picture frame holder) in the side. It was too cute!

Zeke was super tired from all the fun at the lake!

We always have a great time up at the lake and I can't wait for summer next year to go and play some more!
